Literary Events - Week of January 25th

From time to time I'll post literary events and happenings in New York City (my current home), most of which I'm planning on attending.  This event, sponsored by the wonderful publishing house Melville House, looks like it's going to be fun.  A lot of good authors, most who currently live in Brooklyn (not really important, I guess, but an interesting aside), will be speaking about what they think of the new e-books trend.  Here's the list of who'll be there:

Lev Grossman (The Magicians)
John Wray (Lowboy)
Myla Goldberg (Bee Season)
Joshua Henkin (Matrimony)
Heidi Julavits (The Uses of Enchantment)
Joe Meno (Hairstyles of the Damned)
Sarah Manguso (The Two Kinds of Decay)
Tao Lin (Shoplifting from American Apparel)

Wednesday the 27th at 7pm
145 Plymouth St, at Pearl St
DUMBO, Brooklyn
